This feature allows users to set a unique password distinct from their phone unlock code, adding an extra layer of protection to locked chats. Users can even opt to conceal the Locked Chats folder from their chatlist, ensuring discovery only through the secret code in the search bar. Alternatively, they can choose to display locked chats in the chatlist. Long-pressing on a new chat simplifies the locking process, eliminating the need to navigate through chat settings.

We’re delighted with the positive response from our community regarding Chat Lock, and we anticipate that the Secret Code will further enhance its utility. The rollout begins today, with global availability expected in the coming months.
