We are introducing features that allow any business to leverage AI for addressing the most frequently asked questions, ensuring you get the answers quickly. Additionally, we are integrating AI tools to create ads for Instagram or Facebook and to ensure businesses follow up with interested customers. For instance, these tools can remind customers about items left in their cart or offer discounts for purchases they have been considering.

Meta Verified Comes to WhatsApp

We’re also beginning to roll out Meta Verified on the WhatsApp Business app in Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Colombia. The Meta Verified badge indicates that a business has registered its information with Meta and receives impersonation protection. Businesses with Meta Verified also benefit from enhanced account support from Meta and can use WhatsApp across multiple devices for their employees. This badge will also appear on their Channel and custom WhatsApp page, which can be easily shared on social media and the web. We look forward to expanding this important service to more businesses and countries soon.

Bringing Calling into the Chat with a Larger Business

For those times when you need to talk to someone live, we’re introducing the ability to call larger businesses on WhatsApp with just one tap. Whether you have a complicated travel request or want to discuss opening a new account with your bank, a quick call can be the most effective way to get help. We have just started testing this feature and will expand it to more businesses in the coming months.
