Starting today, individuals in India have the ability to place items in their shopping cart and make a payment using their preferred method, including various UPI apps, debit cards, credit cards, and more. Our collaboration with partners Razorpay and PayU reflects our enthusiasm for transforming payment into a seamless experience, as easy as sending a message.
Whatsapp is enabling businesses to attain verification from Meta, ensuring you’re engaging with the correct business entity. By achieving Meta Verified status, businesses confirm their authenticity to Meta and, in return, receive a verified badge, improved account assistance, and protection against impersonation. For businesses keen on enrollment, Meta Verified will offer extra premium functionalities, including the capability to craft a personalized WhatsApp page for easy discovery through web searches, and support for multiple devices, enabling multiple employees to engage with customers. We’ll soon initiate testing of Meta Verified with small businesses utilizing the WhatsApp Business app, followed by its introduction to businesses on the WhatsApp Business Platform in the near future.
